Sun Canyon Lodge
sits on the edge of the Lewis and Clark National Forest and Bob
Marshall Wilderness, located on the east side of the Rocky Mountain
Front. From this panoramic spot have started some of the most
adventurous and gratifying wilderness experiences. This area
offers an unsurpassed variety of adventure to the wildlife enthusiasts,
photographers, fishermen and families.
The Sun Canyon Lodge offers three varied
wilderness options, maximizing your wilderness experience.

Option #1
Guests may choose
to stay at our comfortable base camp located 18 miles into the
Bob Marshall Wilderness. This trip is perfect for couples, families
with children, and/or serious fly fishermen. When arriving at
camp, guests will stay in wall tents with cots, and have family
style meals prepared by our experienced back country cooks. Day
rides, hiking, swimming, photography and fishing are possibilities
in this very relaxing atmosphere. The North Fork of the Sun River
has quality fishing with little pressure. Photography opportunities
are fantastic because of the abundance of wildlife and the incredible
scenery. This trip will prove to be an awesome trip for all involved.

Option #2
Traveling
trips are a great way for the more adventurous outdoorsman
to experience many of the vast areas of wilderness. Choose
to visit the famous Chinese Wall or customize a trip specially
designed for you. Roving trips entail a monadic camp environment,
with daily horseback riding and campfire prepared meals. Serious
photographers, wildlife enthusiasts, and families with adolescent
children will find this trip remarkable.

Option #3
Stay
at our ranch in a rustic cabin. Enjoy daily horseback riding
and fly fishing. After a full day of outdoor enjoyment. After
a full day of outdoor enjoyment, you will return to your comfortable
accommodations. Home-style meals will be prepared for you in
our unique lodge. While your children are improving their horsemanship,
take pleasure in a boat tour on Gibson Reservoir. This option
is perfect for family reunions or corporate retreats.
